DIRECTOR OF PEOPLE AND CULTURE (FULL-TIME):

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of People & Culture (DPC) is an HR Generalist opportunity helping to fulfill our mission and vision by working closely with the Executive Director, other senior leadership, Team Leads, Team Members, and volunteers to develop the people and culture that makes S&L what it is. This includes establishing a safe, spiritually healthy environment serving everyone by creating opportunities to grow individually and collectively.

We are looking for someone who is efficient and comfortable being a member of a team. The ability to multi-task is essential in this position, and the ideal candidate would be resourceful, a good problem-solver, and organized. The ability to balance the administrative responsibilities of a typical HR Manager role while developing the people and organizational culture is essential.

Pick-Up & Delivery Truck Driver:

Reporting to the Director of Retail Operations, the Pick-Up & Delivery Truck Driver helps to fulfill our mission by working closely with the Director of Retail Operations, Team Leads, and Team Members to ensure smooth and successful pick-up and delivery of donated and purchased items. This includes contributing to a safe, spiritually healthy environment that serves everyone—volunteers, donors, and staff—by creating opportunities for everyone to grow both individually and collectively while generating revenue to support the programs and activities of Salt & Light.

We are looking for someone with strong relational skills, who can represent Salt & Light well in the community. Excellent time management skills are essential in this position. The ideal candidate for this job has a strong work ethic, is a good problem-solver, and is extremely organized. The ability to balance the demands of the role with the ministry-mindedness to see people as the priority will determine success.

Team Member:

Reporting to the Team Lead, the Team Member (TM) helps to fulfill our mission by working closely with Team Leads, other Team Members, and volunteers to ensure the smooth and successful operation of the store. This includes establishing a safe, spiritually healthy environment that serves everyone—volunteers, donors, and staff—by creating opportunities for everyone to grow both individually and collectively while generating revenue to support the programs and activities of Salt & Light.

This job operates in a typical retail environment. It is a very active role; requiring someone who is capable of working many hours on their feet and has the ability to move everything from clothing racks to furniture and appliances. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
